Starting in the Asian markets, the generalized correction in the cryptomoney market gained momentum in Europe and the rest of the world before easing off a bit in the afternoon.
On Tuesday, Bitcoin lost 11% to $47,618 (‘39,155) after plunging more than 15%. Ether fell by 10% to $1,562 (‘1,285) after dropping more than 22%. The continued decline of the Nasdaq weighs on cryptos. American technology stocks were down nearly 2% on Tuesday. Tesla fell by more than 5% in the wake of the decline in Bitcoin.
