The Swiss private bank Bordier & Cie has decided to extend its investment offering to include cryptomoney. The group’s clients who are not advised (execution only) will be able to invest in digital assets such as Bitcoin through the specialized Sygnum platform. Sygnum’s all-in-one digital asset management solution is seamlessly integrated into Bordier’s existing infrastructure.
« The market capitalization of crypto-currencies has almost quadrupled in 2020, making it the best performing asset class. As a result, they are a powerful portfolio diversification tool, leading to growing customer demand », explains Bordier & Cie in a joint press release with Sygnum.
Customers will be able to process bitcoin but also other cryptoactives such as ethereum, bitcoin cash and tezos. « The offer will be expanded as customers become more familiar with this new service, » the two partners said.
Since the beginning of the year, many financial players have announced the launch of services aimed at institutional or private investors for the management of cryptosystems.
