As VideoCardz unveils, mining farms are no longer satisfied with simple GPUs but are now equipped with laptops. One of the reasons? Shortages.

If you’re looking for a graphics card you probably know that it’s almost impossible to find one in stock. The shortage affects both Nvidia and AMD. The only remaining stocks of cards are for the assemblers who mount these GPUs in laptops.
It was enough for the wealthy miners to get the famous laptops directly instead of simple graphics cards. You can find some examples of these farms via the images in our gallery.
Ethereum, Bitcoin, Dogecoin… The proliferation of these currencies clearly does not help things and it only accentuates the shortages. Difficult for the moment to have a precise idea of availability.
