Beeple, the rising star of the NFTs.
Although he didn’t consider himself an artist, Mike Winkelmann aka Beeple, has become a fixture on the NFT art scene.
After earning several thousand dollars at his first NFT sales in December, he is about to take things to the next level by putting one of his works up for sale at the prestigious Christies auction house.
Thus, his work entitled « Everydays: The first 5,000 days » was auctioned from February 25 to March 11, with an opening bid at 100 $.
The day after the launch of this sale, the auction has already reached $2.4 million. Enough to make one’s head spin as to the final outcome of the auction in 13 days.
Having taken the crypto ecosystem by storm, the NFTs are now an integral part of the artistic landscape, even being sold in the biggest auction houses.
